So we recently completed a renovation for a local home flipper, when he first gave us the budget and had us take a look at the roof, I will be honest, it looked like a breeze, simple asphalt shingles work, scrape the old off and nail the new down.
To our dismay, this roofs substrate had rotted all the way through. This included removing all rotted sheathing, shoring up rotted trusses and replacing all of the sub base to make sure we can adhere the new asphalt shingles properly and for years to come. We all make mistakes and we all miss some important things, and then there are times like this where we just dont plum see it, completely invisible to the naked eye. Guess we live and learn.

Now we love giving our clients the best rock bottom price that we can and still make sure that everyone is happy and get what they need out of every transaction. But one thing that has been prevalent in the roofing world is that of safety. It doesn't take much error or just the wrong conditions to create a terrible mistake.
This small margin for error mixed with the skill and speed in which we perform our roof's can be a blessing and a curse. Our company has gone over 5 years without as much as a scratch to our personnel, and that's because we take great pride in our in house safety programs and making sure that every worker follows basic safety protocol. This sometimes can make us a little pricier than the next guy, but I guess that would sure beat having a worker with a broken arm on your front lawn any day now wouldn't it!
